The Third program of the very popular Women's Hebrew Zemer / Ulpan will take place on January 3, 2007 at the home of the Waizmans. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Thank you
This coming Shabbos, Parshas Vayeira, the Shul is pleased to be presenting a "Scholar In Residence" program featuring renowned educator and lecturer, Rabbi Yisroel Saperstein.
In conjunction with the program for Friday night, we
are planning a family Friday Night Dinner in the Shul.
The cost for dinner will be as follows:
$10.00 per adult (over age 12)
$6.00 for children (below age 12)
or
$36.00 Family Rate (Cap amount)
It is our hope that families will take advantage of the
affordable pricing schedule and join with friends and
neighbors for a Shabbos filled with good food, zemiros, and
divre torah.
Please note that we can accomodate approximately 100
people for dinner, so reservations will be on a first
reserved basis. Kindly R.S.V.P. by Thursday, 12 noon, by
replying to this email, or calling Francie Brinn at
845-354-0911.
Following dinner, during Rabbi Saperstein's lecture, the
Sisterhood will be coordinating babysitting services for
children.
After the lecture everyone is welcome to stay for coffee,
dessert, and to join us for an Oneg Shabbos filled with
zemiros.
Sponsorships for the event (which includes Shabbos
dinner for your family) will be $72.00.
The entire New Hempstead Community is invited to join with
us for what will surely be an exciting Shabbos.
Thank you
Fred Brinn
